Participates in program studies and analysis of operations to achieve greater economy and efficiency.Prepares materials for work flow and operational analysis, cost studies, and/or equipment utilization.Prepares initial work plans and draft reports based on existing procedures or observation of the activity to be studied. Reviews both operational plans and current and incoming work projects. Makes recommendations for improving methods. Determines the need for work standards and control. Performs other duties as assigned.
You must have the education or experience listed below or a combination of both.
A) You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 05 level. Specialized experience is work experience coordinating, preparing, and analyzing the necessary steps to complete reports; assisting in the development, design, documentation, and implementation of reports; developing findings and recommendations; conducting studies concerned with the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations and preparing recommendations; assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations and providing recommendations; working with software packages to develop presentation materials that includes handouts, overheads, and/or participant materials; conducting studies of work procedures, functions, and management initiatives; and preparing data summaries for inclusion in routine and special reports.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
B) Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university. You MUST submit college transcripts if qualifying based on education only. Unofficial copies are acceptable.
C) A combination of education as described in letter "A" above and experience as described in letter "B" above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
