The individual selected for this position will: Provide advisory service to project manager(s) on risk mangement, schedule management, change control and configuration management.Develop, monitor and update schedules for projects during planning and implementation phase.Analyze and evaluate major programs goal objectives.Manage, engage and communicate with internal/external stakeholder(s) on program requirements, agendas and inquiries.
Specialized Experience: For the GG-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal services. Experience for this position includes Experience applying project management principles to assigned projects, applying independent judgement when detailed instructions are not provided; experience working with diverse team and individuals to identify and resolve conflict which effect the outcome of program goal and objective; experience communicating in writing and in person to various levels of stakeholders;and managing and engaging with a variety of internal/external stakeholders.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Applicants must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
