Monitors contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, contract data reporting requirements, and other contractual requirements.Perform various contract administration functions including monitoring cancelled funds, performing reconciliation, conducts contract closeouts maintaining database integrity, determining eligibility, and verifying evidence of contractor progress.Review contract proposals.Performs final closeout of assigned contracts.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify for the GS-11 grade level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the second lower grade/level (GS-09). Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in contract administration functions, contract negotiations, contract proposal reviews, and contract closeouts.
To Qualify for the GS-12 position, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11). Specialized experience is define as: experience analyzing settlement proposals, audit reports, technical evaluations, and subcontractor claims; negotiating settlements with contractors.
Education can not be substituted for experience at the GS-12 grade level..

A bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees AND at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
