- Serves as a member of the NAVSUP End-to-End Procurement Automation Team
- Evaluates End-to-End Acquisition approach to ensure consistency with higher-Echelon business and technology initiatives
- Develops End-to-End Procurement Automation policies and procedures for commands and offices throughout the Navy
- Participates in evaluating long-range plans, develops strategies, establishes policy and schedules, monitors implementation, and makes decisions concerning changes in program and project priorities
- Assists with performing management analysis to plan and implement information technology initiatives that affect the acquisition function
- Evaluates the use of information technology contracting requirements in order to support the contracting function
- Supports Integrated Product Teams and working groups in order to support the use of information technology in the procurement function

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements set by the Department of Defense: Applicants must possess: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field; AND At least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
In addition, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Managing the functional and technical architecture of the end to end procurement automation systems such as the Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation )FPDS-NG); 2) Interpreting and reviewing Federal, DOD & DON contracting laws, regulations, principles, and procedures to manage programs and provide guidance; 3) Developing end to end procurement automation policies and procedures; 4) Researching, planning and implementing alternatives, drawing conclusions or formulating recommendations to support decisions affecting information technology solutions for the acquisition function.

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience.
