· Prepares orders and maintains records on Food Service prime vendor purchases, designated sources for alternative requisitions not under the prime vendor contract, or alternate sources where prime vendor cannot fulfill required orders
· Prepares, orders and monitors the level of those items not available through prime vendor
· Uses the government purchase card for purchases under $2,500 and not under a government contract
· Prepares and monitors department budget and the financial records for consumable and non-consumable supplies, leases and equipment repairs
· Assists in research for correspondence and projects

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector OR have successfully completed four years above high school; this education was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university OR have a combination of education and experience that when combined meets the total qualification requirements.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
· Experience in standard purchasing and procurement regulations, policies and procedures (e.g. prime vendor purchase, receipt and record maintenance)
· Experience with supply principles, procedures, methods, and practices to perform supply clerical functions
· Experience with solicitation or purchasing methods
· Experience with the technical features and uses of food production/service and their relationship to supply and demand conditions
