HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY)
· Review requests from current and/or former military members and/or their heirs or legal representatives to correct errors or injustices in personnel records.
· Prepare summaries of facts, opinions, and discussions by conducting reviews of proposed testimony and/or evidence and performing legal research.
· Prepare recommendations for consideration and research historical information regarding cases.
· Advise others whether applicable statutes, laws, regulations, court case precedent, procedures, and policies involving military personnel records have been properly interpreted and applied.
· Present to higher authority, orally and in writing, a balanced summary of salient facts based on a comprehensive examination and analysis of the application for correction of military records and related data.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing complex cases by applying Federal statutes and regulations to assist in the adjudication to correct an error or to remove an injustice in military personnel records.
