IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT)
Supports operation of the NAVAIR Depot Maintenance System (NDMS) operations located at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Provides technical guidance to a team of highly skilled middleware managers, database administrators, and system administrators.
Serves as an expert advisor to the Director of IT/IM regarding customers' operational requirements and challenges. Performs special program/technical analyses on a self-initiated basis. Perform systems management, operating systems installations, performance tuning and configuration on Microsoft Windows bases servers. Trouble-shooting support or repair service on any element of software applications and PC hardware.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: troubleshooting support service on any element of software applications and PC hardware and software; providing input for the definition and documentation of policy and process guidelines for the centers support; solving customers problems; recommending enhancement of infrastructure elements critical to support of the mission; addressing contingency planning to ensure continued service to essential IT/IM operations in the event of failure of critical infrastructure elements.
