This position is located in the Logistic Technical Data Center (LTDC) of the Maintenance Management Division, TRIDENT Refit Facility located in Bangor, Washington. You will be  performing various duties in support of library functions and provides various LTD services to customers.

As a Library Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to:

·         Assisting customers in identifying and acquiring logistical technical data (LTD) products.

·         Providing document change services to record documents checked out to customers.

·         Ordering, receiving, inventorying, issuing, and returning/recalling various types of technical documentation.

·         Monitoring and maintaining security measures with the storage, handling, and reproduction of classified material.

For the GS-06 Level:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing library support functions. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of qualifying experience may include:

Issuing, tracking, or receiving technical documents and products;

Reproducing, ordering, or maintaining technical documents and products.

For the GS-07 Level:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing technical library support functions. Examples of qualifying experience include:

Assisting customers with retrieving technical documents;

Maintaining library inventories in a data base;

Issuing, tracking, or receiving technical documents and products;

Reproducing, ordering, or maintaining technical documents and products.
